Information

This drawing is part of Origin of the Beginning. Portrayed in this piece is a room with empty cabinets and 150 floating icosahedron shapes. This room is an abstract representation of van Veluw's boyhood bedroom. The cabinet stands for his obsessive attempts to gain control on his life by organizing his surroundings.

Although the geometric shapes are symmetric, they are moving though space in a chaotic way. The daily struggle to regulate the chaos is part of the concept but simultaneously van Veluw's reality.
